Our Story

Helping People Helping Others was founded by Xaviera Diaz & Kathy Miller to offer practical tools and advisory services based in a foundation of scientific research and focus on adding valuable positive impact. We envision a world where people of all abilities truly belong and are able to reach their full potential.

Kathy Miller
Kathy Miller

Kathy Miller is a Senior Operations Executive with a proven track record at major companies such as General Motors, Delphi, Parker Hannifin, Rolls-Royce, and Vertiv. She has led global teams, fostering inclusive cultures built on trust, respect, and accountability. 

Kathy is passionate about helping individuals of diverse talents and abilities thrive in the workplace. She has been an executive sponsor of numerous employee resource groups and served as Vice Chairman of the Board for Damar, a non-profit supporting people with developmental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities.

An author, keynote speaker, coach and consultant, Kathy uses the science of positive psychology to drive transformation for clients like Subaru, Panasonic, and Madison Industries.

Xaviera
Xaviera Diaz

Xaviera Diaz has spent her professional career working to unlock people potential in companies (small to large) and helping employees to feel valued at work. She has a passion for inclusion and diversity as a first generation Canadian and particularly enjoys focusing on opportunities to make a positive impact.

Xaviera achieved her Bachelor of Arts & Science from Quest University Canada, specializing in Organizational Behaviour and Neuroscience. She went on to pursure her Master of Applied Positive Psychology (where she met Kathy!) at the University of Pennsylvania, connecting the dots between personal financial management and psychology.

Having worked in the financial industry, Xaviera has seen first-hand the importance of focusing on value-add programs and processes when it comes to diversity and inclusion.
